Okapi Wanderers RFC U19 has been selected as one of the top 8 teams in the nation to compete in the 2026 High School Rugby National Championship in Elkhart, Indiana.

It is a tremendous honor for our program to be selected to participate in the Tier 1 Club Division, where our players will have the opportunity to compete against some of the best high school rugby teams in the country from May 21st to May 23rd.

This achievement is not something that happened overnight. It is the result of years of hard work, commitment, sacrifice, and belief from everyone involved in the Okapi Wanderers RFC program. Our players have continued to push themselves on and off the field, showing discipline, resilience, teamwork, and pride every step of the way. The opportunity to return to Nationals is a reflection of the culture we continue to build and the rugby values that guide us as a club.

We want to thank every coach, volunteer, supporter, sponsor, and member of the Okapi family who has contributed throughout the years to help make moments like this possible. Your time, energy, and dedication have played a major role in the growth of this program.

Most importantly, we want to give a special thank you to our parents. Your commitment, sacrifices, support, travel, encouragement, and belief in these players have been essential to this journey. None of this would be possible without you. You are a huge part of the success of this team and this club.

We are incredibly proud of our U19 players and excited for the opportunity to represent Okapi Wanderers RFC on the national stage once again. We look forward to competing with pride, respect, and determination against the best teams in the nation.
