May 29th 2020 Okapi Wanderers Rugby and Atlanta Rugby have reached an agreement:
As we continue to work to grow rugby in the USA Okapi Wanderers Rugby has made an agreement with Boca Raton jr Bucs Rugby, Key Biscayne Rugby, Sarasota Rugby and Wellington Wizards Rugby to create the pathway to rugby academies in Florida for future MLR pro players. Thank you Santiago Sodini from Atlanta Rugby for putting all this together.
Atlanta Rugby Coaches will be coming to Florida during the summer to host a clinic at Tequesta Trace Park, also international coaches will be brought to Florida to train all the Club coaches mentioned before.
Also we expect that Florida Jaguares Rugby will be traveling to Atlanta and New Orleans , depending on the pandemic, during the month of September and October 2020 to play friendlies.
