Special Compass creates life-changing experiences for the differently-abled by promoting inclusion in the community using athletic events, and building opportunities for independent living.

Special Compass envisions a world in which differently-abled people have the opportunity to participate fully in a wide range of community and athletic activities, enhancing their confidence and sense of self. They do this by pairing volunteer "Power Buddies" with people who are not able to propel themselves so they can experience the thrill and camaraderie of crossing the finish line as
part of a team.
