Thanks to all of you that participated on Saturday April 24th 2021 of full day of rugby,
We hope that you and your children had a great experience during the Florida State championship.

We are very proud of what we have done as a club in such a difficult year for all of us.

We are really happy with the contribution and time from Coach Ron Suarez for coming in with the FIU boys to help form the U23 squad, thank you Ronny and FIU, the effort to get up to Weston to train and play has been phenomenal. Welcome to the Okapi Wanderers RFC family. It would be great to continue U23 next year, it was a great way for the recent high school/U19 graduates to continue playing.

Of course, the 1st XV squad that held it together when it looked like the season wouldn’t happen due to covid 19. Big thanks for the Men’s leadership group for stepping up including the old boys and making Okapi Wanderers RFC look good.

A Special mention for the U16s coaches and organizers and parents that went up to North Carolina, made a massive impact against some high profile teams, held our club to the highest standards and for winning the Florida State Championship.

We have been talking in club management about working through the summer with our existing players. So we will continue to train. We are giving Strength and Conditioning plans to the U19s,U16s & U14s players.

Florida Jaguares state team is off the ground again with selections starting and will be well represented with U19 & U16 & U14 Okapi Wanderers RFC players.

We have ongoing projects with Rugby ATL from the MLR and Tiger Rugby related to the World Tens Series to find opportunities for Okapi Wanderers RFC players to take their game to the next level.

Massive thanks to the coaches, managers ,volunteers & sponsors in all divisions for your dedication to the kids and our great organization.
